What Do We Mean by Support?

What Do We Mean by Support?

Support includes providing security updates, non-security updates, and general assistance for the software components listed above. We ensure that our software solutions are up-to-date and running smoothly.

How Long Is Support Available?

Our support is aligned with the support periods of the software component providers (Microsoft and Oracle). You can find detailed information about these periods on the providers' websites or at endoflife.date. If a software component is no longer supported by the providers, our software solution based on this outdated component can also no longer be supported.

Extended Support Options

If you’re using software components that are no longer within the regular support period, Microsoft and Oracle offer extended support under specific conditions.
However, please note that if you operate our software solutions on these extended support components, we won’t be able to support them.

Keeping Your Software Up-to-Date

To ensure compatibility and proper functioning, it's essential to keep your software components properly installed and updated. Using outdated components or hardware can lead to issues for which we cannot be held liable.

Responsibility and Liability

While we strive to provide the best support, we cannot be held responsible for any damages resulting from the use of outdated software components or unsupported hardware. It’s the Customer's responsibility to ensure that all software and hardware meet the current requirements and support conditions of their respective providers.

Summary

By understanding and following these guidelines, you help us provide you with the best possible support for your DiIT software solutions. Keeping your software and hardware updated ensures smooth operation and compatibility, allowing us to assist you effectively.
If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to reach out to the DiIT support team. We're here to help!
